I’ll know if we’re really seeing the recruiting bump for in-state guys if we get the following recruits:

JJ Mandaquit (4⭐️ 2025) is the number 2 recruit in the state this cycle, he had an unofficial visit to BYU and definitely has interest in BYU. Has other suiters (Utah, Washington St, Tennessee, SDSU etc) but we need to get him

Dean Rueckert (4⭐️ 2026) is the number 1 recruit in the state next cycle, he has a lot of interest in BYU but will have tons of interest. He’s in our backyard at Timp.

Now that UU is on a downward trajectory, we have to dominate this state for recruiting. Hopefully Berg and KY can get that done.
