Is Townsend Tripple who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and has a game that can punish from the outside, yet has the size to score inside when needed. Tripple is the best walk on at BYU in many a year.

Also Adam Stewart will work to improve when he lands in a few weeks after his mission. Rare to get a guy with his skill set and size as a walk on. David Evans does a great job developing his players (think Fous and Richie) and Stewart is another example. Can't wait to see his development. He is smart (4.0 GPA and full ride academic scholarship) and that makes a ton of difference. Smart makes a difference.

And here is what I love most about Tripple and Stewart. They aren't at BYU because of money. They haven't been promised the spotlight. I doubt that we will ever see them in a Mountain America commercial. They love hoops and they love BYU. And I love that too. I won't be surprised to see these two walk ons in the rotation as juniors and seniors. The development of guys like Tripple and Stewart is what will give BYU the continuity and depth it needs to "win big" as Woj predicted. I can't wait to cheer for these guys, even if their main role during games this year is to cheer for their teammates. Hoops is a team sport. They will push their teammates to be better and that will help win games even if they don't get in some games.
