It is time to stop complaining about NIL and other aspects of the new college sports landscape, and start embracing them. We have been richly blessed with wealth and resources as a people. As a people who make up the BYU community, we are fundamentally better than other university-communities. We have made more money, we support and engage with private organizations that have managed that money very well, and socially we have managed our lives better. We can offer more value and opportunity to prospective athletes than our competitors - most assuredly Utah. If we actually put that to use, better athletes will be attracted to BYU and BYU will win.
