Jimmer Fredette of the Westchester Knicks earned MVP honors at Saturday’s D-League All-Star Game in the East’s 128–124 win.

Fredette, who ranks fourth in points per game this season with 22.6, set a D-League All-Star Game record with 35 points on 13-of-19 shooting with six three-pointers, eight assists and six rebounds.

A first-round pick of the Kings in 2011, Fredette fell out of the NBA in 2015 after a brief stint with the New Orleans Pelicans and was taken with the No. 2 pick in the D-League draft by Westchester. He was again picked up by the Pelicans earlier this season, but was cut after just nine days and reacquired by the Knicks.
