in any other context other than being at BYU. silly stuff like what rooms a girl could be in or i could be in (what difference does it make if we were making out in the living room or a bedroom?) or what time somebody should be told to "go home." kinda blew my parents away when i told them i went on lots of dates that didn't even start until 11 pm...they had no frame of reference...they'd been going to bed at 10 pm for 20 years by then.

that, and i kept my hair a bit shorter than i have at any other time in my life.
