Remeber your bottom feader comments and then stated that BYU lost to better teams in 2012?

I actually believe that BYU would have finished the same or worse than Utah in the PAC 12 the past two years.

Utah has also won the last 3 straight rivalry games. 8 of the most recent 11. It is honestly tough to argue that BYU is a better team, program, coaching or player talent, than Utah.

I did like your comments about BYU fairing no better than Utah if they were in a big conference. There is no doubt they would look about the same.

The issue for BYU is the ability to secure better talent. They have at a couple spots over the years. QBs in the past and LBs currently. The fact is, they miss on lots of top Mormon talent and basically always have.

Take this class as an example. It's marginal at best. And the rats haven't stopped jumping off yet from what I hear.

If Utah's recruiting classes are better now than BYU's, and have been for 3 years now, and will continue to be.....What does that say about BYU's ability to compete on the big stage?
