Most of this list seems to come from a woman because it has a lot of "talking" in it. Women want to be told they're loved. Men want to be shown they're loved. It's pretty simple really.

As to whether this exercise is a trap, it really depends on what kind of a woman your wife is. You know best if she's sincere or if angling for reciprocity (not that that's a bad thing to do), unless you're clueless, which is also a possibility.
