There is no way to know at this point. To even speculate is not worth the time.
Could be easy, could be hard. Just don't know.

You don't know anything about them. Even who is returning, who the 6 losses were to and how close the games were, etc. (ok, they got beat by Stanford in the Rose Bowl - we know one)

To say that BYU has a shot at winning the game is the most "Captain Obvious" thing I may have ever heard.

It's football. And in college football, especially, teams are different from year to year. Different players, coaches, teams they play, etc. You can't take a previous year as an indicator. So why speculate now?

Oregon State finished with 3 wins in the 2011 season. Look what they did in 2012!!! Same Coach, Same QB, etc. So, even when things stay relatively the same, you can't know how good or bad a team is going to be.
