There's no way in heck BJ believes that he will be anything but an apprentice.
They are spinning it to help him save face. That's obvious.
It's still a good hire. If someone had told me a few months ago that Dennis Erickson was going to come in for a couple years and be co-OC with Doman, then Doman would take over in a couple years after some seasoning, I would have been all over that.
