BYU has a miniscule fraction of a recruiting pool compared to other schools. BYU also has a majority of that pool coming and going on missions. And you think a BYU coach should be top 25 every year?
John wooden had 9 seasons with 9 losses or more and he didn't have the recruiting disadvantage or the challenge of having half his recruits coming and going on 2 year mission's.
If you don't like BYU being a Mormon school and you don't want Mormon kids going on missions, i would pick a new school to root for.
Fact is BYU is defying the odds. over the past 5 years when you combine BB and FB records BYU is doing pretty good. Check out the list schools that BYU leads in wins over the past five years.
