It is for people that distrust hospitals and are trying too hard to be naturalists. This topic sets me off because my wife works in the NICU and she sees plenty of home births gone wrong that permanently damage a child. In most cases a hospital birth would have prevented the issue.

All this because the parents were more concerned about themselves during the birth process than the actual child.
