This sounds super weird, I get it, but Doctors and Hospitals are there to make money. Births shouldn't be scheduled, what a ridiculous notion (outside the incredibly rare scenario when the baby or mother's life is in danger).

Look, having the whole family jump in the inflatable pool naked right after mom gave birth is weird. Moderation in all things people, but having a home birth is much much less risky than people make it out to be, especially a nurse that works at a hospital.
