i highly doubt they feel like texas would own them and with where the two schools are headed right now a win against texas every year would be a big deal for florida state not only on the bcs side of things but recruiting as well. I think if the big 12 added FSU clemson louisville or VT and BYU they could get a huge tv contract once the original deal is up so everyone saying that they will only add someone that is worth $26 million are a little out there. They do need to add someone of value instead of becoming the big east and water down the conference for the sake of numbers. But teams with the brand and ability to grow with big 12 money backing them is more important than adding $26 million right away.
