The story behind the SI Jimmer photo

As many of you who subscribe to SI saw the 2-page spread in the special 75th NCAA Tournament Edition this week, there is a story behind the photo. There are some great things within the photo beside Jimmer seemingly leaping beyond physical capacity; Mark Few standing with his hands on his hips between the legs of #3, Stephen Roger with his hands up and seeming saying "I'm open too" (or just beating the ref to signal a three) and for cougar fans there is Kyle Collinsworth giving us hope in the future for athleticism and ball handling on the wing.  I got a kick out of people thinking it was photo shopped and had no idea that it changed the life of the photographer in some significant ways.

Since we'll almost certainly be in the NIT this year so this is a good time to reflect back on Jimmermania.
