There is a great co-ed recreational soccer league (11 v 11) that plays mostly in Alpine/Highland during June through early August. It is structured to be for people who want to play soccer but not on a super competitive level (really, not on any competitive level at all, just fun 11 v 11). Player ages range from 18 to 50+ (some of those guys really still get around the field ) We did it last year for the first time and had a blast. There are upwards of 20 people per team but with no substitution restrictions (and plenty of out-shape people like myself) so every one gets to play about as much as they can handle. Teams are required to field a minimum of 2 girls at any given time.
Experience and skill levels range from good to never played before. Players who have never played before our are fairly new can opt to wear a "newbie" armband which tells everyone to leave you alone for a few touches so that you can get some actual playing time and learn as you play.
The cost is $15 per person for an 8 game season and you get a league shirt for "home" games.
Most people join by themselves, with a spouse or with a couple of friends. You don't need to bring your own complete team to the league, the organizer takes care of placing people on teams and he does a fantastic job.
BM me if interested and I'll send you the link to join (Just passing on info; I am not involved in running the league in any way).

The animation above is wrong, but I think it looks cool so I am keeping it. For a debunking of this animation read this very interesting article.
