ANSWER, The Ranking of the three HIGHEST Ranked Passing Offenses
that BYU faced last year and BYU"S Passing offense rank..which was 50th!
Now we all know how awesome BYU's passing offense was..err..wasn't.
We had one of BYU's worst QB's ever at the helm.
the entire Offensive staff was replaced..
We LOST to the two offenses ranked 6th and 20th and Squeaked out a 3 point win over the team with the 40th ranked pass offense... A win that could have gone the other way fairly easily...
BYU's D stats were built on teams which could not pass. The rest of the schedule consisted of teams ranked below 50th in the country.
Shutting down Ga tech was impressive, but is not the point of this post.
