Two of those teams ironically played or faced essentially the same crappy foes, while the other faced similarly crappy foes.. MWC/WAC D's... So comparing OUR D to those guys D's.. Yes ours was better and SHOULD fare better than Idaho or Idaho states, Hawaii's, UNM's, UNMST's, CSU's, UNLV's, et al... so ,, no our D was still bad vs teh only three team we played who could throw.. the proof was evident on the field and in the outcomes..
