BYU 30 for 30s
I've thought for awhile that BYU really is worthy of two future 30 for 30 documentaries. One would be called "QBU" and would focus on the quarterback factory between the late 70s to 1985, then to Ty Detmer. No other school has had a run of successful quarterbacks like BYU had in that time period. Pretty much evern season featured a top five Heisman trophy finish, and new records in passing offense. The story is made even better given the fact that BYU was a nobody in the college football world prior to that run of quarterbacks, and the impact BYU's innovative offense has had on college football today.

The other obvious documentary would be "Jimmermania." Maybe it's too soon for that documentary but I think it's a worthy topic. I've followed college bball for a long time and I can't remember a player that ever captured the imagination of a country quite like Jimmer. I think you'd have to go all the way back to Larry Bird in 1979 to find something comparable. I know I'm not particularly objective on this, but I really believe that.
