FEATURE CHANGE: "Follow" button on messages
I thought this would be an obvious change, but I've apparently confused several people, so I better explain it.

Before yesterday, the Follow Thread button was inconsistent with the rest of the user interface. For POTD, thumbs up/down, laugh, and favorites, the button would show as "active" or "depressed" when you had already done that action. For example, if you had nominated a post as POTD, then when you viewed that post, the POTD button would already be depressed. Clicking it again would un-nominate it. This is a standard user interface implementation, not at all unique to CougarBoard.

The "Follow Thread" button did not follow this pattern, but rather showed an arrow to the right (with the hover text "Follow thread") if you had not followed the thread, and an arrow to the left (with the hover text "Unfollow thread") if you had. To my credit, this was implemented before I changed the user interface for the other buttons. Now that the others all follow that pattern, it became confusing to have a completely different UI pattern for the Follow button.

The "Follow Thread" button now behaves as the others. If you have already followed the thread, it shows as depressed. If you have not, it shows normally. Clicking it after it is already depressed will unfollow the thread, just as clicking the POTD button a second time would un-nominate the post.
