I am not saying that A is better than B because A has 110 RBI and B has 104
but nontheless, there have been no tot level 3 and 4 hitters in the history of baseball who havent consistently driven in over 100 RBI in a season. To me it is a useful stat.

I think Mike Trout is better than Miguel Cabrera ans he has way less RBI.

To me WAR, OPS, OBP, Slugging and BA are all the best stats for hitters in baseball. Nonetheless, I would much rather have a guy that drives in runs like Carbrera than a guy that consistantly walks with men on base like Votto.
