Well,
I can't think of any reason for Cal except that their new coach has a year under his belt, and it will be at the end of the season. Virginia claims 2 of the Top 10 recruits in the nation next year, and 4 of the Top 25. It is by far their best recruiting class in history. Coaching has been a problem, but there is a reason for them to be much improved (plus, there isn't anywhere to go but up).
