That was pretty freaky--just heard a massive clattering crash outside my office

They were doing work on the roof of a nearby building, and the crane boom failed. Support pieces came crashing down, and the boom itself smashed into the roof of the building. Looks like an AC unit has been flattened. I would guess structural damage to the roof too.
