You are fair-weather fans. You pick and choose when to support the team based on home schedule. This year's home schedule is certainly not stellar, but it's not a whole lot different than a typical MWC schedule, which is currently our only alternative to Independence (and not an appealing alternative IMO). Last year's schedule was among the best we have ever had. Just recognize and accept that independence has its challenges, one of them being home scheduling. Some years will be great, others not as much. Support the team in good scheduling years and bad. If you choose to support the team based on home schedules, you really are no better than Ute fans.

P.S. - If finances are the reason, this doesn't apply to you. Family finances are always higher priority.
