I just added a 2nd internal hard drive (2 TB and I'm using Windows 7) to my computer and I opened "Disk Management". It automatically had a pop up say "You must initialize a disk before Logical Disk Manager can access it. Use the following partition style for the selected disks:"
The two options are: MBR (Master Boot Record) and GPT (GUID Partition Table)
It also says "Note: The GPT partition style is not recognized by all previous versions of Windows. It is recommended for disks larger than 2 TB, or disks used on Itanium-based computers."
Oh, might CB nerds - what option do I choose?
I'm also looking to Google for an answer too.
