endangered species act and clean water act are two of feds'
biggest land grab mechanisms.
it's sickening how such good ideals are perverted in order to just take things away from citizens with very little in return.
not even an alternative where he could keep his land but cooperate with govt to implement measures to help the species' ecosystem. private citizens are not to be trusted with that sort of thing.
