If a similar episode had closed out The Office about 4-5 years earlier, it would
have gone down as a top 15 tv show of all time. HIMYM could have taken some pointers from that ending. Sometimes all fans want is the happily ever after... Unless it is an anti-hero story, then we want the entire cast dead.
