Nothing like picking up your son after he served a faithful mission.
My son returned yesterday from his mission in Brazil (Santa Maria) It is wonderful to have him home. He was the only one returning from his mission, but he traveled with about 8 others coming from Porto Alegre. It was funny, in SLC Airport, their are 2 escalators with stairs in between them. The group of missionaries appear and start running down the stairs, I notice that he is not with them, Then I see him standing on the escalator. He rides it all the way down. He told me, "I walked about 15 miles a day for the past 2 years, I was going to ride the escalator, not the stairs.

It is great to have him home, he is lost, but has grown up a lot. Now it's time for the doctor, dentist, etc.
