I think Young would have to be considered as well due simply to the fact that
just like Frankie Fredericks, at one point, Young was also the very best (or very close to it) in the world at what he did.
If the discussion is overall athlete, I would still go with Ainge or Young, maybe Fredericks. Frankie was perhaps the best of his sport to ever compete at BYU, but I'm not sure if he was the best overall athlete. Ainge played professionally in two sports.
