All the guy did was outplay Jake (at least in the coaches' eyes). We all know Riley wasn't a great QB, but it's not like he came here to intentionally sabotage Jake's career. If you want to get mad at Bronco, Anae, and/or Doman, that is fine, but why blame a guy who was just doing his best to help the team? I realize a lot of you hung a lot of pride on Jake's success, but don't make Riley your scapegoat for the fact that your claims of Jake's greatness and subsequent failure threw your football knowledge into question in the eyes of other Cougarboarders, especially when a clean slate at a new school that handed him the reigns yielded the same, if not worse results than he had at BYU. Sometimes, it's ok to admit you were wrong. But if you're not willing to do that, at least blame the right people, not the guy who happened to replace him.
