Before I posted here, I promise I've tried to find solutions on my own. Here's my issue:
1) Total novice
2) We have a really nice copier/scanner that has the ability to scan a document to a network folder.
3) I want the copier to scan a document directly to a folder on my computer.
4) We do not have a server, all computers are networked through a wireless router.
5) I'm running Windows 8 on my computer and have shared the folder with "everyone" and allowed both read and write permissions.
6) I've listed the destination folder \\COMPUTERNAME\DESTINATION FOLDER on the scanner
7) Every time I've tried to scan to the folder, I get the error, "Selected Servers Are Not Found, Contact Your Network Administrator"
Any tech guys have any ideas?
