He knocks on this guys door and he had a pretty athletic build so my buddy asks him if he played in Football in College. They get talking and it turns out he played at Florida in the 90's. The guy asks my friend who his favorite team is and he says BYU. The guy gets super excited and he said he loves watching BYU. Said he became a fan back when he would watch Ty Detmer air it out and wishes he could have played against him (he played DB). He then goes on to say that he watches BYU all the time on ESPN and thinks it's pretty cool how often they are on TV. He said that he only played in the CFL and AFL but his nephew is Jacoby Ford, who just signed with the Jets earlier this month.
