remembering what happened after the game as we were making our way to where we were staying. We stopped for gas at a mini-mart and ran inside for some snacks. While we were inside, a some other Cougar fans came in and said how disappointed they were that we lost. We bust up laughing and told them that we won. They couldn't believe it. We had to convince them that we weren't lying. Then, I remembered that the game was delayed an hour in San Diego and told them that if they hurried back to their room, they might be able to catch the final 4 minutes of the game. They dropped their stuff and ran screaming from the store, telling the guy getting gas the they had to leave right then. It was hilarious to see the looks on their faces when they realized that we weren't kidding. hahahaha We thought about leaving but then decided that we had traveled too far and spent too much money to leave early for better or worse. We were so glad that we stayed to the end. The ending was kind of surreal with the fog starting to creep into the stadium and seeing the string of taillights leaving as we made our impossible comeback.
