I have no idea how this coming season will pan out, but the potential is there for something special to happen. Taysom is a rare talent, and the coaches (led by Bronco) have put talent in place surrounding him, at least on paper. Of course, Taysom will need to take another large step forward in his development. The defense will be very good again, almost guaranteed. I'm not predicting that this will happen, but there is the potential for a top10, top5 type season. Or, maybe we lose 3 or 4, and only have a "good" season. Who knows.

Looking forward, the defense is pretty much on auto-pilot. The scheme is in place, the culture is entrenched, and good defensive players, particularly linebackers, continue to look at BYU as a great opportunity. All of the sudden, we actually seem to have some real depth in the defensive backfield. Crazy. On the offensive side of the ball, there is work to be done. However, the trend seems positive, and I trust Anae to continue to build things up on that side of the ball.
