as anything he's done on the football field. It required a significant amount of hard work and dedication from a man that has mental issues from his days of playing. Imagine the humility of the Wonder Kid from Roy, to go back to a University which a lot of people think wouldn't even look at him today if he were a high school recruit. Congratulations, Jim! From a non-athlete who has a tremendously hard time with school. You are a shining example to me, personally, that if I put my mind to it, I can get it done!
Jim McMahon is now my favorite all-time BYU quarterback. Not because of on the field performance; not because of his awesome performance in the Super Bowl Shuffle; and not just because of his finishing and graduating. But because he did NOT allow his early onset dementia to be an excuse for him to take the easy road. He ROSE UP! We all can!
