Kanter may have cost himself some points with management yesterday.
When Locke was interviewing him, he was very vocal about the choice of not playing all four or all five of the "young core" together was a mistake. I can't argue with this but at the same time I realize that Ty Corbin was trying to win games and keep his job. I don't think that anyone in the Jazz hierarchy is going to put a huge amount of stock in this as my guess is that Corbin is gone anyway.

Note, I didn't hear this as I didn't listen to the entire interview. I'm taking this from what DJ said on his show this morning. Where I do think Enes may have created some friction was a remark that he apparently made when asked about working on his defense over the summer. Apparently Enes made the comment that defense wasn't all that important and that he didn't plan on making it a priority. From what DJ said, it sounded like he was essentially subscribing to the old Doug Moe theory where his teams didn't worry about defending, they tried to win by outscoring everyone.

Dennis Lindsey is a huge defensive guy. If that truly is Enes's attitude it doesn't really sound like his philosophy and management's are heading the same direction which usually winds up with the player heading a different direction.
