Though not officially approved yet, initial designs and cost estimates are basically done and he expects it to be installed in the summer of 2015. Current screens are 9' x 12'. New screens will be 14' x 24' and feature a circular ribbon board above or below the screens. It will be similar to ESA in the sense that it will be four separate screens with open space separating them on the corners instead the octagonal one in there now. I also heard they plan on putting 2 more LED screens on the floor behind the basket like the ones installed this past season as well as LED screens above every portal entrance for advertising and to create the effects of a full arena ribbon board traditionally seen in professional arenas above the box seats. Original cost estimates are just shy of $4 million.
That summer they are also planning on taking out the remainder of the yellow seats in the lower bowl and putting in blue padded ones like the current ones. This would reduce the capacity by several thousand most likely.
