He had the second fastest agility time in the 2011 combine
His time was better than Isaiah Thomas and significantly better than Kemba Walker - both relatively quick players.

I think a lot of his defensive problems probably have to do with his technique and inexperience of playing defense at a high effort level. I don't think he has elite quickness, but he has enough quickness to get in the lane in score past good, lengthy defenders.

At BYU he was expected to save his energy for offense. I don't know if he ever played defense in high school, but playing good defense has to do with both technique and effort. He has a ways to go with technique and developing good defensive instincts. I think that he will continue to improve the next couple of years.
