Most bowl contracts have been completed for the 2014 to 2019 football seasons. Based on 2013 per team bowl payouts.

Bowls that pay > 1.1 million have been tied up by the P5 conferences, the bigger the payout the better the team. The Y would have to join a P5 conference or hope to get included in new contracts after 2019.

Bowls that pay = 1.1 and > .75 million have at least 1 P5 team involved in the bowl, maybe a chance for a game here for the Y.

Bowls that pay < .75 million is what is left for the Gof5 conferences and where the Y will get bowl opportunities.

TH has said the Y will be involved in the same type of bowls they have in the recent past. The Y is already contracted for the Poinsettia Bowl for 2016 and 2018. There is about 8 bowls owned by ESPN, look for the Y to get chances with these bowls. Note the increase in bowls is in response to give Go5 teams greater exposure to the Bowl experience.
