Don't think I've seen one movie based on a true story that was 100% accurate. That's just Hollywood. And in this case, the events are actually more accurate... It's the portrayal that differs... Like many movies, such as The Blind Side. If that's all you're going to think about during the movie because you read crew comments first, then don't watch it.
If you want to watch a very good movie and be entertained/shocked/etc by something that really happened, jump on board.
