Also, United Rugby has taken off (the Utah County version of Highland rugby, if you will) in recent years (even before Gelwix left for the mission). No doubt it had an impact, but there is still probably no other state in the country where rugby thrives more than in Utah. They continue to have the rugby national championships (in HS and college) in Utah most years because of this.
