Do you think the Jazz will ever win an NBA title?
I want you to take off the purple goggles and answer this question honestly. I am a Jazz fan, but I seriously doubt that the Jazz will ever be able to win it all. We had our best chance in 1997 and 1998. The stars aligned almost perfectly. We just had the bad luck to run up against arguably the greatest player in NBA history in Michael Jordan.

The Jazz just have too many inherent disadvantages. Salt Lake City is just not a very attractive destination for star players and free agents. It's widely considered to be one of the most boring big cities in America. People think there's nothing to do here. It also has an unfavorable climate during the winter and a lack of ethnic diversity which is a big turnoff to a lot of NBA players. Add to that the fact that Salt Lake is also a small city and therefore a small market and doesn't have as much cash to lure those elite players to Utah. Salt Lake just isn't as sexy as Los Angeles, Miami, New York, or even Chicago.

Also, Jazz management is average in my opinion. They're too conservative and afraid to take risks. I think the Jazz can go back to being a perennial playoff team. I'm skeptical they can get over the hump and win a title though.

What do you guys think?
