He hasn't ever been named the AVCA Player of the Year
He probably deserved it last year based on BYU getting to the NCAA championship, but Taylor Crabb from Long Beach had some stats that were hard to ignore. Volleyball Magazine did name Taylor Sander its 2013 Player of the Year though.
