Letting a very successful GM leave without paying him enough to stay and then balking at an extension proposal by the coach that guided your team to a franchise record in wins screams of a very intelligent front office. There's nothing like following up the best regular season in franchise history with a poor campaign in which you find yourself in the middle of the lottery pack with a new head coach who appears to not be very good. Oh, and it takes a special kind of organization to freeze out one of the most professional and classy players in the NBA, and a proven winner, Andre Miller.
At least the Nuggets have that Knicks pick. We'll see if they are willing to pay the player or if they balk at the rookie scale for a high lottery pick and trade him away to save some money.
