What I would change about child support laws
I would like to see one change to child support laws. They should (at least for the most part) not be dependent upon your income. If this was done:

1) Fathers would not be able to get off by simply quitting their job. Most states do have a minimum payment, but it is nowhere near enough. There should be an amount that you are responsible to pay regardless.
2) Mothers could not use pregnancy as a source of income.

I think it would be awesome if judges either had a set amount, or if they could look at each situation and say, "I believe it will take ______ to support these kids." Even better, have the plaintiff and defendant present arguments and supporting documentation to show what is needed, not what is "possible." As it is now, child support is little more than a punishment for divorce. There is no child on earth that needs $2000 a month plus benefits to support.
