the pestilence of ATV's showed up. I could tell you about a half dozen places that used to be wonderful to hike, or go on horses, or take your family in for a picnic that are now well and totally trashed by renegade ATV'ers.
If they all stayed on the roads, it would just not be my cup of cocoa. But everywhere they are allowed, and lots of places where they are not, the whole area is ripped up. All it takes is two immature 15 year olds or one drunk 25 year old, and enough damage is done to a meadow to last for years.
