Remind me of the content of this thread when we know the outcome of Britain's recruitment. I had a conversation regarding Britain and BYU with a very good friend of mine and co-worker (who just so happens to have married into the Covey family) the night Timpview's football team beat Salem Hills. Britain's skills made Salem Hills defense, including Porter Gustin, look several steps slow many times that game. His answer to my questions of the possibility of Britain following family members to BYU was what I stated above. I hope it is not true. Britain is so explosive. I was more impressed with his quick feet and ability to change directions and make tacklers miss than his speed.

I have had many conversations with my "source" since then and nothing has changed. Coach Anae believes there is an entitlement problem and will not have Britain on his team. Is that so surprising to you considering how stubborn Coach Anae seems to have been with his offensive football team?
