bery good measuring stick for how they will do in college. Jabari's surrounding cast at Simeon also had multiple D1 players, same goes for Monteverde etc. These top AAU teams all have multiple d1 players some have 4+.
I would say the jump from AAU to college isn't that much, because the athleticism and level of experience is about the same. The absoulute elite players play 1 or 2 years at most in college so you never really play the elite players in college because they're either gone in 1 year or if you do play them in college they're inexperienced and not playing at a very high level.
The jump from college to pro is huge. Everyone is elite at something, 90% are elite athletes, and rookie's and 2nd year players are far less experienced compared to the all star level type players who 4-14 year veterans that you would never see in college.
