things are changing at an unbelievable pace....we now carry around with us just about the entire knowledge base of the entire human race in our pocket.

we have to import people to perform our basic tasks...basically, economic slaves to our egalitarian lifestyle/society.

also, the jobs are G-O-N-E. very few people i know actually have jobs that produce anything. most are either gov't workers or some type of paper pusher.

it really bothers me how disconnected we are as individuals from our food source/production. if anything were to happen, we won't be going back 100 years...we'll be going back 500 years. the people who actually know how to "do stuff" are gone.
