Agreed - in fact I pulled my jr. high age son from football,I wasn't comfortable
with him playing because he's undersized for his age.
But if we're going to outlaw contact in practices, we might as well ban football altogether, or just turn it into flag football. Not learning & practicing proper tackling techniques will cause as many injuries as the status quo.
