Giants fans have taken it upon themselves (unnecessarily IMO, it would eventually get done anyway) to have a Barry Bonds statue erected at AT&T Park:

Might this be the best way to get one done for Lavell? Would the administration even allow it to be placed on campus if the money was raised? It might be more appropriate to place it outside the stadium in front of the pressbox, but I would like to see it placed by the southeast entrance where the players and students enter. I would also love to see plaques dedicated to the former All-Americans and award winners along the walk on the east side of the stadium.
